We are delighted to start our 2025 exhibition program in Salzburg with two new female artists. SISSA MICHELI, who creates performative stagings of real or fictional events in her artistic photography. KATHRIN ISABELL RHOMBERG, whose oil paintings are based on metallic, reflective surfaces that capture their surroundings and reproduce them in the form of an artistic play of colors. The central theme in the works of both artists on display is the drapery. A motif that has been anchored in art history for centuries, which Sissa Micheli and Kathrin Isabell Rhomberg translate and reinterpret in different contemporary ways.
