Maureen Kägi, winner of the Swiss Art Award 2025, relates the ephemeral and the fixed in her gestural flower paintings and geometric meshes of lines, merging organic and constructed elements in an illusion of movement and blurriness. Over the years, Thomas Reinhold has created a stringent painterly oeuvre in an unmistakable artistic style that is characterized by consistent abstraction and a harmonious use of colour and form. For both, the interplay of control, fleetingness and chance is part of their artistic practice.
