In the L.art VIENNA summer exhibition, we present works by Moni K. Huber, whose works share the theme of summer. Tents and umbrellas as motifs remind us of the "real," "better" life, of being on the move and outdoors, of vacations and childhood. Works on canvas with oil and watercolors showcase the entire spectrum from concrete representations to abstract patterns and forms, a new meaning in painterly discourse.
The works of Käthe Schönle are in dialogue with Moni K. Huber. Her exhibition is titled: FOCUS / a place beyond the NOW, and features new works on canvas, drawings, and collages that offer a glimpse into a future beyond dystopia and destruction. Powerfully and poetically, the artist makes a plea for a more confident version of coexistence.
