Martin Veigl awarded

The young artist Martin Veigl, whom we will present for the first time in November in an exhibition in our gallery, received the Koschatzky Art-Award recognition prize.

We are very pleased that the jury of the Koschatzky Art-Award has awarded the work of Martin Veigl with the recognition prize among the eight finalists.

The Koschatzky Art-Award is a competition that has been held every 2 years since 2005. Its goal is to recognize and promote young emerging artists up to the age of 35. At each Koschatzky Art-Award about 2,400 works by about 800 artists from about 80 countries are submitted and presented to the jury. The Koschatzky Art-Award is the largest graphic art prize in Europe and has already served as a springboard for an international career for many artists. The Rotary Club Vienna-Albertina has launched this initiative and organizes the KA'21 together with the Rotaract Club Vienna-Albertina now for the 9th time. (© Koschtzky Art-Award)

We congratulate very warmly and are looking forward to present Martin Veigl with oil paintings and drawings in our gallery in autumn.
