JAKOB GASTEIGER, CLEMENS WOLF

Jakob Gasteiger, to whom Museum Liaunig is currently dedicating an exhibition, is with his unmistakable monochrome paintings one of the most important Austrian artists. Equally powerful works can be expected by Clemens Wolf, whose artistic work deals with capturing unreproducible moments. In the series of his ‘parachute paintings’, parachutes are captured in the movement of collapsing and solidified into sculptures and paintings when dipped in epoxy resin.
