A successful opening with an exciting exhibition dialogue between two young artists that we present for the first time in Salzburg.

In a mix of sunshine and rain we opened this year's summer exhibition together with our artists!

The young artist Martin Veigl, whom we will present for the first time in November in an exhibition in our gallery, received the Koschatzky Art-Award recognition prize.

Welcome! We present new, young and established artists this year and look forward to a creative collaboration.

We look back on a very challenging, but nevertheless successful year. In the current special issue of PARNASS auctions & fine arts our gallery is mentioned in this regard with a very successful report, which you can read here.

A wonderful opening day on which we were able to welcome numerous guests. We were especially pleased about the visit of Catherine Koika, the Greek ambassador to Austria.

The Galerie Weihergut at Linzergasse 25 in Salzburg was taken over in 2018 by Herwig Loidl as owner and managing director. A year later, there was a change in the team with the gallery owner and curator Judith Burgstaller-Legat and Ingrid Skovhus as project manager and curator. A few months later the cultural scientist Lisa Koch joined the team as support. Since then the gallery has been pursuing a new exhibition concept with Austrian or Austrian-based top-class artists.

Swinging music by Libertango at the entrance to Linzergasse and a successful exhibition in the gallery with the artists Oliver Dorfer and Michele Bubacco created a lively crowd of visitors and a good atmosphere!
